Personal Commercialization

June 15, 2011

I decided to keep this blog because this is where I could run to when I hate the world created by the self-righteous.

When I was younger, I told myself I would get my own place at the age of 18. I wanted to get away from her, from the hell I had to wake up to every morning, from the hell that burns all day long. When that didn’t happen, I felt homeless for the longest time. When I found blogging, I had shelter for the first time.

I know I have written crap in here for the commercialization of this blog. I knew I had initially created this blog to try to earn money on the internet. Because of envy, because I also wanted to earn, because I thought I could use it to start my own business.

Don’t get me wrong but it’s not the business you think it is because business is always a mention in internet marketing. Really. I thought if I could just hit big in the internet industry, I could use it to start my own business in the real world.

That I would invest in stocks, buy land, build apartments, run a restaurant chain. That I would be able to study anything I want to study if there was money from the internet. But things didn’t happen big time.

So I tried to earn writing for the web. And I was able to earn a little. I didn’t know how to do things when I came here and it was difficult because even if you new someone for an I.T. they couldn’t help.

Sometimes when you don’t receive a pat on the shoulder whatsoever, you only have yourself. At the end of the day, you only have yourself.

“It takes a lot of courage to show your dreams to someone else.” Erma Bombeck.

When nobody believes, you just get too tired  of explaining and say, actually this dream is a piece of who I am and this is too important, this is too private that I shouldn’t be showing it to some moron.

As for the contents of this blog, they don’t have to suit your taste. You don’t even have to read what is in here.

Very informative post. You made some good points. I especially found it useful where you stated the value of technology.
