Finally, I got a camera!
It’s a PowerShot SX130 IS Canon that I bought in SM on March 26, a Friday.Yes, I like to mention that because the day is significance. It marks the day of my making new memories. I have never owned one before, so this is actually a first. Gone are the days when I had to be at the mercy of someone who owns a camera. Let’s be honest. Most of them are narcissistic. They only want to take pictures of themselves and only upload the ones they like, especially when they are on it.
Although, I had been pining for the Digital Single Lens Reflex or popularly termed by photography enthusiast and social climbers as DSLR, I don’t have any regrets for settling this model. I think I got a good bargain. I got SLR functionalities in a compact size.
From reviews I have read about SLRs, most people get bugged down by the huge size of their camera later on; especially when they only need to take quick amateur shots. I don’t want to be slinging a large camera around my neck when I only want to be in the mall strolling to kill time or window shopping. Plus, I am not comfortable brandishing a large camera unless there is a photography enthusiasts’ meet or something.
I really had so many factors to consider before I bought my camera. It is very important that your choice of purchase should be based on conditions that really suit your personality and not on some public hype or peer pressure.
I am getting to know the new addition to my properties. I am going to post pictures and relate to you the adventures I have with my new Canon in all the days that we will be together. How about you? What have you got lately?

hi! I just have a new winter jacket. tested it the other day and it’s perfect, I don’t need to layer just my top and jacket. that’s it. It’s worth it (out of my budget).
