Google Voice For iPhone

November 17, 2010
Google voice for iphone was available for download in Apple’s online App Store. It is a whole new experience for long-time Google users that will allow them to merge their home, office and mobile phones into a single number. How does this benefit consumers? Well, international phone calls will become budget-friendly.

They can avail free SMS messages and get transcriptions on their voicemail messages. For the meantime, the service is only made available to customers in the United States with Google Voice account.  This is great service because this means we can do cut on other costs and add them to our savings.

I get particularly interested on the feature where we get to send free SMS messages. Which reminds me about what a friend had told me. She said I could use Google to call a few friends abroad. Maybe that was during which time that Google was still finalizing everything. Probably. Because I believe Google was involved in a bone of contention with Apple. The discord was enough for US government telecom regulators to notice. I guess, not everybody is glad that this new Google service is ready to take on new heights.
